Cherry tree: deciduous tree. Plant height up to 8 meters. Shoots glabrous or slightly hairy. Petals white. Stamens numerous; ovary glabrous. Drupe, subglobose, sulcate, red, ca. 1 cm in diam. Flowering from March to April, fruiting in May.
