How to make inkpad?

Printed version, a Chinese study in Four Treasures of the Study, has a long history and is suitable for woodblock printing and lithograph printing. Quality requires bright color, lasting and delicate quality.

60g castor oil, scarlet (or magenta and plumbum preparatium)1/g, white clay (finely ground and sieved) 10g, wormwood (i.e. fine hair made by drying Artemisia argyi leaves, removing hard stems and mechanically rolling) 1g, and borneol/kloc-.

Method:

Put all kinds of raw materials into the tank according to the above formula sequence, stir them with a wooden stick first, and then roll them on a roller mill for many times, that is, make them into muddy inkpad.
