The state religion of Pakistan is Islam and Islamists constitute 96% of the total population of the country. Of these, Punjab has 60% of the country's Muslims, Sindh 18.6%, Balochistan 3.2%, North West Frontier Province (NWFP) 13.7%, and the Central Administered Tribal Areas (CATA) 4.4%.
