Introduction of ancient bridge building
The ancient pagoda is located in the middle section of Wenxue Road in Putian City, Fujian Province. In the eighth year of Xingguo in Song Taiping (AD 893), Peng Chu, the military section of Xinghua, was built as the gate and gatehouse of Zicheng. In the sixth year of Shaoxing (1 136), due to the fire, it was known that Liu Deng was rebuilt and more drums were put on, so it was called the Drum Tower. In the forty-first year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1562), it was burned again because of Japanese riots. It was not until the fifth year of Qin Long (157 1) that it was rebuilt and placed under the title "Hulan Xiongzhen" inscribed by Yin Wuqing. The existing ancient pagodas were built in the 56th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (17 17). It was rebuilt in the eighth year of Jiaqing (1803).
