During the spring ploughing season, the reporter came here and saw that a large area of rape was ripe and golden, and it was about to be harvested. CCTV reporter Liu Cheng: In a ten thousand mu farmland in Yujiang District, Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, agricultural machinery is busy transplanting rice and early rice. Different from other places, rice seed selection, seedling raising, planting and transplanting here, including plant protection and even harvesting in the later stage, are all accurately operated according to the crop growth diary.

The reporter saw in this diary of crop growth that the time for soil preparation and mixing of early rice was March 5, the time for soaking seeds and accelerating germination was March 8, and transplanting began on April 9. When to mow the grass, when to manage the fields, and when to harvest when it is ripe are all marked in detail.

Not only early rice, late rice and rape, but also the soil preparation, planting and specific operation methods of the last two crops are recorded in the crop growth diary one by one according to time. Farmers only need to plant "rice-rice-oil" crops on time according to the time nodes in the diary.

Because of the special latitude, in Yujiang District, Yingtan City, most farmland only grows two crops a year. In recent years, the local government wants to promote the "rice-rice-oil" three-season rotation planting mode in the whole region to increase the output of grain and oil. However, according to the traditional planting method, it takes more than 450 days to plant two-season rice and harvest one-season rape, which is difficult to solve the problems of planting stubble, technology and variety. In order to find a breakthrough to solve the problem, the local agricultural department visited all parts of the country. Last year, Yujiang District introduced a domestic professional agricultural team under the guidance of experts from China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In order to ensure that three crops can be planted smoothly for 365 days a year, they made a detailed investigation and study on the local crop growth law and climate, and made a scientific and reasonable plan on what crops to plant and how to manage them in each time period.
