Allusions to eating green vegetables at ancient banquets

Zhu Yuanzhang has four dishes and one soup.

Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, has a ballad of "four dishes and one soup" circulating in Fengyang, his hometown: the emperor treats you, four dishes and one soup, and radish and leek are really sweet; Onion tofu, profound and clear, makes corrupt officials flustered. When Zhu Yuanzhang celebrated the queen's birthday, he only used two bowls of carrots, leeks, vegetables and spring onion tofu soup to entertain the officials. Moreover, there are three chapters in the Covenant: in the future, no matter who hosts a banquet, only four dishes and one soup are allowed, and anyone who violates it will pay in hell.

"Radishes go to the streets, pharmacies have no business", "leeks are green, and long-term stability will calm people's hearts" and "two bowls of vegetables are like two bowls of incense, leeks and tofu are green and white, and fairness and integrity are like the sun and the moon". Although Zhu Yuanzhang was the king of a country, he took the lead in setting an example and advocating the style of incorruptibility.
