The "Tianqiao Map" by Sesshū Tōyō and others praised the Japanese omen (1352-1431year), with a wide range of paintings, good at painting landscapes and Taoist figures, and a rich and extensive style of painting. He was a Buddhist painter in Tofuku-ji Temple, and his paintings were quite famous at that time. 1368 completed 50 pieces of "Five Hundred Arhats" imitating the paintings of Arhats in Yuan Dynasty, and 1408 completed the masterpiece "Nirvana".
