, Remove the non-functioning BIOS chip from the motherboard and set it aside for safety.

2. Remove the working BIOS chip from the working motherboard and insert it into another motherboard, but do not press it completely into its slot. Place the chip only so that its connector is firmly touching the socket contacts.

3. Try to boot the motherboard using the temporarily installed BIOS chip. You must boot the system to a floppy disk that contains the correct BIOS and the installation program for the damaged motherboard. Do not flash an available BIOS chip.
