What are the best B&Bs and hotels to experience in Inner Mongolia?

1. Hulunbeier Grassland Starry Night B&B

Address: 122 Yingbin Road, Hailar District, Hulunbeier City, Inner Mongolia

Price: RMB 238 per capita

This B&B is really suitable for stargazers! Lying on the grassland at night, looking at the stars in the sky, is simply a cosmic fantasy enjoyment! The owner of the B&B is super enthusiastic, and prepared roast lamb and milk tea for us, which is simply a treat for the taste buds! You need to wear less clothes and bring enough blankets to sleep at night, otherwise the night in the grassland is a bit chilly!

Experience: This B&B is a heaven for stargazers! At night, we can lie outside on the open-air balcony and look up at the boundless starry sky. Sometimes, you can even see meteors streaking across the night sky, it's just beautiful! The B&B also provided telescopes so we could see the stars more closely and experience the magic of the universe.

I particularly like the decor of the B&B, which is simple and cozy. The beds in the room are covered with soft quilts and pillows, making you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. There was also a small star lamp above the bed, which added a romantic atmosphere to the whole room. Every night, we could fall asleep listening to soothing music with the stars as our companion. In the lobby of the B&B, there is another special corner, which is the starry sky bar! Dozens of LED lights were installed on the wall to simulate the twinkling effect of the stars. We can drink a cup of hot cocoa here, enjoy the beautiful starry sky and feel the peaceful night.

My friends and I also attended a fun bonfire. Around the bonfire, everyone sat around and enjoyed baked sweet potatoes and hot hot drinks. The host also told us something about the stars and the universe, which was really insightful!

2. Don Quijote B&B Xilinhot

Address: 186 Haragai Road, Xilinhot, Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia

Price: RMB 198 per person

This B&B really makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale world! It is a European-style cabin with a very cozy and lovely interior. There is also a small garden around the B&B, which is perfect for taking photos! The hosts also prepared a hearty breakfast, and I couldn't get enough of it! Reading a book quietly in the cabin at night was the ultimate cozy time.

Experience: this B&B called Don Quixote, themed after the Spanish literary classic Don Quixote, was so much fun! As soon as you enter the B&B, you are surprised by the huge horse statues of knights. The rooms are decorated like medieval castles with an atmosphere of romance and adventure. It's really a place you can't help but want to break into!

We stayed in a huge suite that felt like we were living in a nobleman's castle. The room had an extra large bed, big enough for the kids and I to roll on and off. The room also had a huge wall painting of the adventures of Don Quixote and his loyal companion Sancho Panza, and it was almost like being in a book.

The B&B also has a small courtyard filled with flowers and greenery, truly an oasis in the middle of a bustling city. My kids and I had a blast flying kites in the courtyard. Another time, we had a crazy water gun fight on the patio that was a laugh riot.

Of course, even more unforgettable was the dinner at the B&B. They serve traditional Inner Mongolian-style roasted lamb, which is simply delicious! The lamb was tender and flavorful, and when you took a bite, the delicious juices exploded in your mouth. I have to say, it was the best lamb I've ever had! My kids also ate it with gusto and kept complimenting me for finding such a delicious place.

Note, Don Quixote B&B in Xilinhot is a very special place. If you want to experience some adventure and romance in the prairie of Inner Mongolia, this is definitely a good choice! Remember to bring your good mood and get ready to have a great time!

3. Aershan Ayshi Qixing Hot Spring Hotel

Address: Shanju Village, Yunding Township, Aershan City, Xing'an Municipality, Inner Mongolia

Price: RMB 688 per capita

This hotel is really integrated into the ethnic flavor, and as soon as you walk in the door, you will be able to feel the rich Mongolian culture. There is a hot spring in the hotel where you can soak in the warm water, which is really comfortable! There are also special music and dance performances, so I can feel the strong ethnic culture atmosphere. Wake up in the morning can also see the beautiful sunrise, simply a feeling of close contact with nature.

Experience: The hotel is located in the hills of Aershan, surrounded by dense forests and clear streams, very quiet and pleasant. The hotel also has several hot spring pools with warm and clear water, which is really comfortable!

The room we stayed in was a duplex structure with a bedroom and lounge area on the upper and lower floors. The bedroom's windows face the beautiful mountains, so you can wake up every morning to a breathtaking view. The lounge area, on the other hand, had comfortable sofas and a TV so that we could relax and entertain ourselves indoors in comfort. At the hotel's restaurant, we sampled local specialties. Their roasted lamb was flavorful and tender. There is also a special dish called "Aershan Stew", which has a rich, layered broth that makes you savor the taste.

In the evening, we also took part in a stargazing activity organized by the hotel. The hotel staff led us to an outdoor stargazing platform to view the magnificent starry sky through a telescope. They also taught us how to identify constellations and planets, giving us a deeper understanding of the universe.

4. Horqin Grassland B&B

The design of this B&B is very special! From the outside, it is really wonderful! The whole building is like hosting on the big tree, like a B&B carried by the grassland. As soon as you go in, you can see the decorations embellished by ethnic elements, which really represent the ethnic style!

My main reason for choosing this place is that it has a little horse zipper for taking pictures. At first I didn't understand what it meant, but after I sat down, I realized that it was simply a magic weapon for taking pictures! Sitting on it, you can take a picture of a model! You can try all kinds of angles, and you might even be able to capture the beautiful scenery in the distance.

The eating place is also very unique, as far as the eye can see all the lawn and trees, sitting there to eat feel like in a fairy tale world. The food is very tasty, especially the lamb stew, which is simply the taste of happiness.
