Location: Southwest of Shanghai.
Status: One of the nine central cities (ranked third, only behind Huangpu District and Luwan District)

History: At least 400 years ago, it was the former residence of Xu Guangqi, a famous scientist in the late Ming Dynasty, and the "Guangqi Park" still exists today.
