How long can tea generally be soaked?
In principle, the soaking time should be appropriately extended, but it is not advisable to refer to the practice of pouring water into the pot. There is a simple reason. Different styles of pots, different thicknesses, different materials and so on will affect the drying time. A better method is to brew Tieguanyin tea with appropriate quantity and quality. The first soaking time is generally around 15 seconds, which can be adjusted according to the age and quantity of tea, and then each soaking will be extended by 5- 10 seconds. My home is brewed with Tieguanyin in Yayunge, which is often brewed like this. I think it tastes good. But the tea in this house tastes good and the quality is very good. I think the quality of tea is also very important besides the water quality when making tea.
