The difference between perm and cold perm
Different temperatures: cold ironing is carried out at room temperature, while hot ironing requires high temperature heating.
History is different: cold perm belongs to the traditional perm method, which has a history of nearly a hundred years, and perm has existed since the sixties and seventies.
The scope of application is different: cold perm starts from the hair root, but perm can't be permed from the hair root. Both have different requirements for hair quality, and the requirements for cold perm are higher.
The blanching time is longer. Perm means that the hair is completely dry before perm, and cold perm means that the hair is wet before dyeing.
The curling effect of cold perm is more obvious when the hair is wet, but when it is dry, most of the curls will open, which may be only one-third of that when the hair is wet. Perm can make hair look more durable, and after perm is dry, it can reach two-thirds of the curl of wet hair.
