Why don't China people have the sense of rules and the spirit of contract?
There is a sense of rules in China's traditional culture, but now westernized education has destroyed such rules. The rules we are talking about are etiquette and social ethics. There is a lot of regularity here, so people can study hard, know filial piety and learn to be a man. Regarding the spirit of contract, the integrity of the ancients has reached the point where it is not necessary to write on paper, with good promises and good contract spirit. It's westerners who come in, which has regressed our social contract. If we don't do business according to them, we will be cheated by them. So I studied their social ethics, which caused our social moral corruption today. In modern society, the material has increased, but the spirit has declined. The root cause is western culture.
The original intention of contract spirit refers to a spirit of freedom, equality and trustworthiness. Those who abide by this spirit need to have certain character, morality and self-cultivation, and those who do not need to be punished accordingly. This kind of punishment can not only be a single-level law, but also needs an active, mature and progressive society to assist supervision.
