Address of Taoxiangcun Mooncake Manufacturer
Daoxiangcun (Suzhou) originated in 1773 (Qing Dynasty Qianlong 38), 249 years ago, when it was called "Suzhou Taoxiangcun tea store". When Emperor Qianlong traveled to the south of the Yangtze River and tasted the pastries of Taoxiangcun in Suzhou, he praised them as "the most exquisite and delicious food in the world" and inscribed a plaque on it, which made the company famous all over the world. Taoxiangcun adheres to the "artisan spirit" in its products, and traditional handcrafts are passed down from generation to generation through "masters with apprentices". In 2006, Suzhou Taoxiangcun was recognized by the Ministry of Commerce as one of the first batch of "old Chinese brands", and in 2009, "Taoxiangcun's technique of making Su-style mooncakes" was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection of Jiangsu Province.
