Yin Xiaofang/Kloc-studied art in Shanghai at the age of 0/3, and then studied under Yin Guifang. She studied the art of Yin School assiduously and made great achievements. She perfectly embodied and developed the performance characteristics of Yin School, and learned from others and formed her own artistic personality.

1948 was elected as the rising champion of Shanghai Yue Opera. The classic masterpieces and traditional plays starring in the 1950s, such as The West Chamber, Peach Blossom Fan, Tower of Pearl, Hongmeige, Oil Salesman, were deeply appreciated.

Major achievements

Yin Xiaofang has published tapes, records, CDs and VCDs of famous plays and songs. He published papers such as "Learning, Inheritance and Development", and made an incisive discussion on the singing, performance and artistic morality of Yin School.

Over the years, the teachers have devoted themselves silently, and have successively trained a number of outstanding and influential Yue Opera talents, such as Mao Zedong, Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong. Critics praised her as both the "prince" of Yin school art and the "gardener" who sowed Yin school art. After retirement, she served as honorary head of Hongkou Yue Opera Troupe.
