What are the representative works of Tanci?
Most tanci works are long, and a work often takes several months. For example, "An Bang Zhi", "Guo Ding Zhi" and "Phoenix Mountain" are three consecutive works with 674 times and more than 70 volumes; Generally speaking, there are more than 10 volumes. The opening of Tanci is not dull, the short one is only two rhymes and four sentences, and the long one is only a dozen rhymes. It mainly plays a role of setting the field and guiding the audience's interest in books, just like the words in the Song Dynasty. Later it gradually developed into an independent art form. During Jiaqing and Daoguang, Ma Rufei was good at opening books. Now there are more than 50 articles, and their singing method is called Ma Diao, which has great influence. Tanci is still one of the most popular forms of Quyi today. In language, Tanci can be divided into "national sound" and "local sound". Guoyin Tanci is written in Mandarin, such as An Bangzhi, Tian Yuhua and Rebirth. Tuyin Tanci is written in dialects, or mixed with dialects, with five-tone Tanci as the most, such as Pearl Tower, Jade Dragonfly and Biography of Righteous Demons. "Nanci" in Zhejiang, "Pinghua" in Fujian, and "Muyushu" in Guangdong are all synonyms of dialect tanci popular in different regions.
