Today, the "Japanese Modern Calligraphy Exhibition" was grandly opened at the An Culture Palace to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the sister city agreement between Nara and China An.

Thanks to the invitation of Xi Friendship Association with Foreign Countries and Xi Calligraphy Association, and the strong support of people from all walks of life, this exhibition was successfully held. We express our heartfelt thanks for this.

Calligraphy originated in China and spread to China (Japan) since ancient times. Since then, calligraphy, as the national culture of China and Japan, has developed to this day. Calligraphy lovers in different periods constantly study the works of China's calligraphy masters and practice their calligraphy skills, thus creating their own styles and traditions.

Today's Japanese calligraphers are also adhering to this glorious tradition, and constantly actively deepening exchanges with colleagues in the calligraphy field in China.
