How to measure startup with 36v motor multimeter

Check the power supply, connect the test circuit, check the multimeter, check the current measurement, check the voltage measurement.

1, before checking the motor, you need to turn off the power and disconnect the power cord, if you find any power leaks or short circuits during the checking process, you must repair the circuit problem before proceeding.

2. Insert the measuring pins into the two wire connectors of the motor.

3, before using the multimeter, you need to confirm that the instrument itself is working properly, set the selector knob to 20v AC/DC, and then use the test needle to gently touch it to see if the needle reacts.

4, select the positive and negative test wires, and connect the measuring needle to the corresponding wire.

5, select the measuring current on the multimeter, connect the measuring needle to the wire and use the safety insulation connector to protect it, start the motor and check whether the meter displays the current value within the normal range.

6, select the voltage measurement mode on the multimeter, connect the measuring pin to the power wire of the motor and turn on the switch in order to start the motor, the meter will display the voltage that the motor is using.
