Simple method for making fried dough sticks

Fried dough sticks are simple and convenient as follows:

Tools/materials: 300g of high-gluten flour, 8g of baking powder, water 185- 190g, 2-3g of salt, corn oil 15g, bowl, chopsticks, plastic wrap, refrigerator, rolling pin and pot.

1. Mix the high-gluten flour, salt and baking powder evenly.

2. Add water and corn oil, stir with chopsticks to form a flocculent, then knead for about 15 minutes, knead into a smooth dough, cover the bowl to prevent the dough from drying, and relax for 20 minutes.

3. Knead into long strips, coat the dough with oil, wrap it with plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator for the night.

4. Take it out the next day, let it stand for 1 hour, return to room temperature, roll it out with a rolling pin, and let the dough relax for 10 minute.

5. After relaxation, cut into strips 2-3cm wide, sprinkle with a little flour, and stack the two pieces of dough together.

6. Chopsticks are wrapped in flour to prevent sticking and pressed vertically on the stacked dough.

7. Pinch both ends and slightly stretch both ends of the fritters.

8. Pour the corn oil into the pot and heat it over medium heat. Check the oil temperature. When the oil flower at the bottom of the pot disappears, put in a piece of dough, and the dough floats for 3-5 seconds, and the oil temperature will be fine.

9. Twist the fritters and put them in the oil pan. After the fried dough sticks float, turn them with chopsticks to heat all sides.

10, fry each fritter for 1-2 minutes, and then color.
