Disadvantages of online court session

Legal analysis: Online trial cannot solve the cross-examination of original evidence. The presentation and cross-examination of the original evidence in the trial will often dominate the subsequent trend of a trial and the evidence advantages of all parties. Failure to cross-examine the original evidence often leads to the suspension of the trial.

Legal basis: Article 122 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). When trying a civil case, the people's court shall notify the parties and other participants in the proceedings three days before the hearing. If the hearing is held in public, the names of the parties, the cause of action, the time and place of the hearing shall be announced.
