Our family lives in the countryside, and every banquet is held in our own courtyard dam. The last banquet was my father-in-law's birthday. However, we have a habit of catering in rural areas, that is, we try to arrange banquets in advance every Saturday or Sunday so that relatives and friends in the city can come over when they are free.

Speaking of which, we are still lucky. First of all, we held the banquet before the implementation of home isolation in the whole country, and did not stop it. Then there were the people who attended the banquet at that time. None of them had direct or indirect contact with Wuhan people. Because of this, we all called to ask, in case someone is infected because of our banquet, then our family will definitely blame themselves.

Our family chose 150 yuan's banquet specifications for each table, which is also the kind of stool with backrest. Our banquets here also distinguish between stools used. Generally, stools with backrest are more expensive than those without backrest, and each table is about 10 yuan. Good relationship, some just charge 5 yuan per table.

In fact, 150 yuan is only the working hours charged by rural chefs here. The big chef cooked the night before yesterday and at noon the next day, and the little chef cooked the next morning and evening. Besides, all the dishes here are our own choices. After that, the chef will write a shopping list for us, and then let us buy it all ourselves. At that time, in order to buy these dishes, we also went to the farmer's wholesale market in a nearby city at 2 am the day before.

And I only bought some vegetables and meat that day, and some seafood and the like, which I need to get the next morning. Because these are all fresh seafood, if we take them back in advance, they may not be preserved overnight. It can be said that all the dishes in our banquet are fresh vegetables and meat. If compared with the ingredients in city hotels, I believe our ingredients are much better than those in hotels. Finally, on the whole, the average cost per table did not exceed that of 600 yuan. If it is the same specification, each table in the hotel needs at least 2000 yuan. Moreover, the amount of the hotel is not enough, and the ingredients will taste bad.

Then why do some people say that banquets in our countryside are unsanitary? In fact, maybe they haven't really eaten our rural banquet. I just saw some pictures of rural banquets on the internet, and then I said that our rural banquets were unsanitary.

I admit that our rural banquets also have a shortcoming, that is, there may be more flies. After all, our rural banquets are all open, unlike city hotels held in the lobby. But we also thought of this when we hosted the banquet. So try not to serve before people serve, concentrate the dishes in one place, and then have someone to drive away the flies. For some cold dishes, we will also directly use the electric fan to blow flies.

Apart from the only shortcoming above, I think the catering in our country is much more hygienic than most hotels. Just like the washing of tableware, we can see with our own eyes that the aunt who washes tableware will soak it in clear water many times after washing it with detergent. Although tableware in city hotels is said to be cleaned, washed and disinfected, it is all done in the kitchen, perhaps just washed with water. Anyway, there are no guests in the kitchen to check, and efficiency is also emphasized at ordinary times.

Besides washing dishes, that is washing all kinds of vegetables. There is no doubt about it. Many hotels are made of water. In our countryside, if you don't clean it carefully, it will always be watched by the owner, and sometimes we even help clean it. Finally, the freshness of vegetables and all kinds of meat, which is definitely the complete victory of our rural banquet. After all, they are all bought by themselves, and they are all carefully selected types of meat and seafood. Hotels can't compete at all.

Through the above explanation, I believe everyone is not so strange to our rural banquets, so please don't say that our rural banquets are unsanitary. You can't find anything wrong except a little more flies!
