Article 1: Three Men Become a Tiger
The state of Wei was defeated by the state of Zhao, so the crown prince and minister of Wei, Pang Gong, were to be sent to Handan, the capital of Zhao, as hostages.
When they were about to leave, Pang Gong said to the king of Wei, "If someone comes to you and reports that a tiger has come out of the street, will you believe him?"
The king of Wei shook his head and said, "I don't believe it. Where did the tiger come from on the street ?"
"If a second man then came running to report that a tiger had been found in the street, would you believe it?"
The king of Wei hesitated for a moment and still shook his head in disbelief.
Pang Gong asked again, "If immediately a third person comes running to report that there is a tiger in the street, do you believe it?"
The king of Wei nodded and said, "I believe it. All three men said so, so it must not be false."
Pang Gong got up and said, "Everyone knows that there can't be a tiger on the street, but when three men said there was, the king believed it. Now Handan is much farther away from Wei than the street is from here, and there are more than three people who say bad things about me in front of the king, so please be clear about what is right and what is wrong."
As Pang Gong expected, as soon as he left, a lot of people went to the king of Wei and spread rumors, so that when he came back from Handan, the king of Wei was no longer willing to summon him to see him.
Part 2: The Tiger Worships His Master
Once upon a time, there was a tiger in a deep mountain. It was heavy and clumsy, and often went hungry.
One day, the tiger crawled out of his cave to look for food, and he saw that the kitten was very agile. He then pleaded with the kitten, "Teacher Cat, please teach me your skill of climbing out!" The kitten shook its head and said, "No, I have taught you the skill, but what if you harm me in return?" The tiger kowtowed and begged, "Mr. Cat, as long as you are willing to promise, I will never violate my conscience. In the future, who dares to bully you, I will fight with him!"
From then on, the tiger worshipped the kitten as his teacher, and the kitten went to great lengths to teach his pupil. Soon, the tiger thought he had learned all the kitten's skills, and was very proud of himself.
One day, the tiger came back to learn from the kitten. He stared at the kitten's rounded waist with his eyes, and his mouth watered. The kitten saw the tiger's bad thoughts and said to the tiger, "I've taught you everything you need to know, now you can go."
Then the tiger glared and said, "Mr. Cat, look what's lying on the tree?" As soon as the kitten turned around, the tiger grinned and lunged at the kitten. At this time, but heard the "swish" sound, the kitten has long climbed the tree.
Part 3: The Extinction of the Amazon Tree Tiger
One hundred years ago, there were countless kind little animals living in the Amazon Basin - tree tigers.
The tree tigers lived and prospered in the woods, happy and carefree.
One day, a little tree tiger was stuck by the tree glue when climbing the trees, and could not move, the mother of the tree tiger cried sadly. The tigers heard the sound and came to comfort both mother and child, they immediately divided the responsibility, every day to take turns to feed the baby tigers, for several years as one day, until it is out of danger or die of old age.
The tree tigers have a very precious fur, plus a heart of gold, but they have been brought to their doom.
The hunters caught a few of the tigers, stuck them in a tree, and then set up a trap, which killed one by one the tigers that came to feed on them.
The tigers, who were used as traps, cried out, "The hunters have set a trap, so don't come over here!" However, the companions could not bear to abandon it, but still risked one after another to send food, and the result was predictable, all became the hunter's wealth.
In a few years, the tree tiger was on the verge of extinction.
At last, there were only a few tigers left to lead the way. The hunter was ready to skin these last few, and the following conversation ensued.
Tree tiger: You humans are so cruel, why do you have to kill us all?
Hunter: Because your furs are too valuable and can be sold for a good price.
The Tree Tiger: Didn't you trade the furs of our companions for a lot of money?
Hunter: we can't survive without money. Money doesn't burn, more is better.
Tree tiger: you are too greedy, why can't you even spare the last few tree tigers?
Hunter: even if we let you go, others will never let you go, instead of letting others get rich, why don't you keep the good luck for yourself!
Tree tiger: you use the kindness and sincerity of our tree tiger race to make the tree tiger family extinct, in contrast, do not you feel shameful?
Hunter: As long as we kill you, the Tree Tiger family and the kindness and sincerity of this race will all disappear from the earth, there is nothing to compare!
The hunters raised their bloody knives.
The Tree Tiger lamented, "You will be punished for feeding your cruelty with our kindness. One day, you hateful two-legged monsters will be endangered animals too!
