How to place the speakers?

For the sake of effect, the speaker position should be slightly higher than the ear of the person sitting on the sofa. If there is a place to put the surround bracket behind the sofa, leave the wire on the ground or corner behind the sofa, and when installing, put the wire through the surround bracket to the speaker.

For the 5. 1 speaker, it adds a center speaker with a central channel on the basis of the 4. 1 speaker, which is specially used to play movie dialogue, human voice and other sound effects. For the center speaker, it can be placed above the monitor or on the desktop in front of the monitor. It should be aligned with the first two main speakers and face the listener.

You can be on the same plane with the same height, or you can move the center speaker back slightly, but its front is still parallel to the front of the front main speaker to achieve satisfactory sound playback effect. If the frame is too high, the sound will appear to be pressed down from above, if it is too low, the dialogue will be dwarfed.

Generally speaking, there are three kinds of speakers commonly used in HIFI computers: 2.0, 5. 1 and 7. 1. The placement of 2.0 speakers is actually relatively simple. Generally speaking, speakers are placed on the left and right sides of the display, with the user's head as the central axis. In order to ensure the sound balance on both sides, the distance between the two speakers and the central axis should be the same.

Moreover, the distance between the two speakers should not be too close, in theory, it should be as close as possible to obtain a wider sound stage, but this theory is only applicable to home theaters, because the power of computer speakers is far less than that of home theaters, and it is unrealistic to put them too far, so the distance between the two speakers is more appropriate in the range of 1~2m.
