Elementary English 26 letters standard handwriting tutorial

Learning English begins with learning the 26 letters of the alphabet, just as learning Chinese requires learning pinyin first, for the same reason. Here is how to teach you how to write the letters of the alphabet in a standardized and accurate way.

The top of a capital letter should not touch the first line, and the bottom must be on the third line.

The 13 lowercase letters a, c, e, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z occupy the center square, the top must be on the second line, and the bottom must be on the third line.

The lowercase letters b, d, h, k, l occupy one or two squares, the top must be on the first line and the bottom must be against the third line.

The lowercase letters g, q, y occupy two or three squares, the top must be against the second line and the bottom against the fourth line.

The letters a, d, g, o, q must be closed at the top.

The letters l and k are closed with a rounded hook and must not be written as a pointed hook or a vertical crook.

The letter r must not be closed with an extra bend.

The letter g,j,y should be written with a natural bend in the closing stroke, not too long or too hooked.
