Charitable ten thousand people

Small olive people have been growing chrysanthemums since the Southern Song Dynasty, with a history of more than 700 years. The Chrysanthemum Festival originated in 1736, the first year of the Qianlong reign in the Qing Dynasty. In 1814, a large-scale chrysanthemum conference was held to commemorate the relocation of the ancestors from Zhugui Lane in Nanxiong to Xiaolan, and it was agreed that a chrysanthemum conference would be held once every year in the year of Jixu (60 years apart). During the Chrysanthemum Festival, there are many cultural performances such as Cantonese Opera, movies, acrobatics, Chinese opera, floating colors, dragon and lion dances, etc. In 2004, the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China officially awarded Xiaolan the title of "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art (Chrysanthemum Culture)".
Zhongshan Folk Songs
Zhongshan has always been the hometown of folk songs, and the history of folk songs is also very long. The popular folk songs include long salty water songs, short salty water songs, Gaotang songs, Dafang songs, Gumei songs, tea picking songs, Baikou Lotus, Lotus Flower Drops, Crane Songs, Dragon Boat, Bailan, Dongxiang Tunes, Children's Songs, Daoxiang, as well as a number of minor ballads, etc. These songs are the origin of Zhongshan ancestors.
