What is Huilu Haier?
Luhaier is a traditional dance of Hui nationality, which is often composed of 24 dancers, arranged alternately in two rows. Lu Haier led the dance, wearing a red hat, a gown, a red silk waist and a double flower fan. Dance movements include "double step", "cross step" and "advance and retreat". Dancers play with double flower fans or waist sides in the dance, with lively rhythm and warm atmosphere. There are also some difficult movements in the dance, such as "Phoenix spreading its wings", "Phoenix nodding", "Golden Dragon turning over" and "Two Dragons spitting water". There are also some changes in the dance formation, such as "Long Snake Array", "Cross Array" and "Dragon wagging its tail".
