Liaoning Technical University is a university.

The school was founded in 1949, formerly known as Fuxin Engineering Senior Vocational School; 1952 was renamed Fuxin Mining (Technology) School; 1958 was renamed Fuxin coal mine institute; 1978 was renamed Fuxin Mining Institute.
