The current situation of the development of Bowls and Bowls

During China's second "Cultural Heritage Day", the exhibition and symposium of rare Chinese intangible heritage plays, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and organized by the National Center for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the China Arts Research Institute, was held in Beijing. Twenty-seven classic plays from 27 opera genres from Shanxi, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong, Hebei, Sichuan, Guizhou and Qinghai appeared on the stage of the capital. In addition to the Liyuan Opera, Putuxian Opera, Jin Opera, Pu Opera and a few other big plays, most of the performances were local small plays and folk plays. There are songs and dances from folk theater, such as Juggling Children, Linxian Daoxiang, Shuozhou Yangge, Bowl Cavity, Meilin Opera, Lantern Opera, Wuyin Opera, Zhengzhi Opera, etc.; the concentration of these rare types of plays fully reflects the long history, diverse forms, and rich connotations of China's opera and song culture, as well as China's intangible cultural heritage protection work, and achievements in the field of traditional opera and song art.

The art forms of the rare operas reflect the theatrical forms of various historical periods in China, and are the living fossils of Chinese opera history, with important research value.

On May 20, 2006, Bowls and Bowls was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
