1. The Book with Zhu Yuan Si

I stood beside him and waited respectfully, asking questions, inquiring into the reasoning, and bending my body and ears to ask for advice; and sometimes when I encountered the senior's rebuke, my expression became more respectful and my manners more considerate, not daring to say a single word in defense; and when he was pleased, I went to ask for advice again. Thus I was foolish, but in the end (I) managed to gain something.

When I studied with my teacher, I walked through deep depressions and huge gorges, carrying a book case and dragging my shoes on my back. In the bitter winter winds, stepping through several feet of snow, the skin on my feet ruptured from the cold and dryness without even realizing it. When I returned to the schoolhouse, my limbs were so stiff that I could not move, so the attendants washed me with hot water and wrapped me in a quilt for a long time before I warmed up. (1) Gift for Le Tian on the Occasion of the First Meeting in Yangzhou

(4) Song of Songs in the Key of Water

This song was written by Su Shi when he was in Mizhou in the mid-autumn of 1076 A.D. (the ninth year of Emperor Xining of Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty). 7, yueyanglou ji

"yueyanglou ji" is a note written for the restoration of yueyanglou.
