Appreciation of Su's The Kite-Flying Man
Sue is proficient in Japanese, English and Sanskrit, and writes both poems and novels. He was also good at landscape painting and translated Hugo's Selected Poems of Byron and Les Miserables, which caused a sensation in the translation field at that time. After the Revolution of 1911, he was mainly engaged in the creation of classical Chinese novels, including The Story of Wild Goose, The Story of Scarlet Letter, The Story of Burning Sword, The Story of Broken Chai, The Story of Dreamless, etc. Su's poems and novels are well received. Chen Duxiu immediately said: "Schumann's noble thoughts and novels describe the truth of life. Is this enough for the beginning of new literature?" Su&the origin of the new literary tradition of novel creation. Yu Dafu said that Su's poems have "a fresh and modern flavor". In the History of China Literature edited by You Guoen, he was described as "unique and lost for a while". It is entirely conceivable that this "overwhelming" literary fame once quoted the poem "The Sixth Skill": Even if Su became a monk, there are still many fans who admire his poetic talents. "Return a bowl of heartless tears, and scrape before you meet" reveals the poet's helplessness, which can be seen from the uncleanness of the dust. We can also see from the book Zheng's Messenger that the poet's "Zen mind" is often disturbed by beautiful girls:
Zen is jealous,
Buddha said that hatred is a kiss.
Rain and smoke are gone,
There is no love or anger with others.
The poet devotes himself to Zen, regardless of Emei's jealousy, but Mei Mei's "resentment" is also regarded as a kind of affection by the poet. Although the phrase "the rain is fading away" reminds people of Su Shi's words of "gone forever, rain or shine, heartless", Su may indeed pursue a realm of "not loving, not being angry with people", but from the opposite side of the positive article, what readers read is precisely the harassment of Emei on the poet's "Zen mind", and it is obviously difficult for Su to "not love people"
