1, SCR trigger needs a trigger pulse, not a single voltage;

2. The trigger pulse needs to have a certain voltage amplitude and provide a certain current, and the rising edge has a certain steepness;

3. The trigger pulse needs to be synchronized with the main circuit and applied between the control electrode and the anode terminal.

Don't blindly increase the trigger voltage amplitude, let alone directly use the voltage source, which is easy to break down or burn out the control electrode.

Please refer to the circuit of dimming desk lamp. Although the circuit is simple, the principle is clear.
