1, shadow play

Shadow play is an ancient traditional Chinese folk art, and is also one of the world-class intangible cultural heritage. Old Beijingers called it "donkey shadow". Formerly known as "Shadow Play" or "Lamp Shadow Play", it is a kind of folk theater that uses light sources such as candles or burning alcohol to irradiate the silhouettes of characters made of animal skins or cardboards in order to perform stories.
