Large boards naturally require large size pieces to be appropriate, usually single convex extra-large and large size pieces, i.e., Go pieces with a diameter of 22 millimeters or more; small boards are single convex medium size pieces, i.e., Go pieces with a diameter of 22 millimeters or less, and C-type double convex Go, which consists of double convex large size Go pieces with a diameter of 22 millimeters.
