What is a traditional terminal

A network terminal is a terminal device specialized in a network computing environment. It accesses resources over a network, and its applications and data are stored on a server. A computer for multiple users, each additional user only need to add a monitor and a set of keyboard and mouse can become an independent terminal, multiple users can be used at the same time independent of each other, with no difference in the use of a computer alone. Terminal is a computer or computer system, used to allow users to enter data, and display the results of their calculations machine. Some terminals are fully electronic and some are electromechanical.
