China Folk Artists Association Rizhao Peasant Painting
Zhao was named "the hometown of modern folk painting in China" by the Ministry of Culture for the first time. On April 10, 2006, Rizhao peasant painting declared the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage, and it was the only representative of Shandong peasant painting declaring the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
Over the past half century, Rizhao has created thousands of peasant paintings, of which more than 65,438+000 have won prizes in national exhibitions, more than 80 have been collected by the state, and more than 300 have been taken abroad as foreign exchange projects by the Ministry of Culture. The works are full of rich rural customs and charm, giving people a strong aesthetic enjoyment. Life and work scenes such as spring ploughing and autumn harvest, digging wells and repairing canals, raising chickens and ducks, picking mulberry and fishing, leisure and entertainment are vivid in farmers' works, with bold techniques, strong sense of color and sincere feelings.
