The Fine Tradition of China's Historiography

The fine tradition of China's historiography is: learning is heaven and man, learning the past for the present, learning from history, applying what you have learned, seeking truth from facts, keeping the books hidden, paying equal attention to morality and knowledge, and combining learning.

History is a subject that takes human history as the research object, also called history. History is a form of knowledge in which human beings screen and combine their own historical materials. History is the concept of dynamic space in static time. History is an organic combination of history, science, philosophy, humanities and their time and space.

History is juxtaposed with science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, philosophy, economics, law, teaching, literature, military science, management and art, which constitutes the discipline system of higher education in China. A bachelor's degree in history is usually awarded after graduating from a university majoring in history and meeting the conditions for granting a bachelor's degree.

History, referred to as "history" for short, refers to the systematic recording, research and explanation of the past events and activities of the human society. History exists objectively. No matter how writers write history, history exists in its own way and cannot be changed.

It has three meanings: 1. Recording and interpreting as a series of historical events in the human process is a discipline; 2. Evolution and origin; 3. Past facts.

The problem of history is to discover the real past constantly, to speak with materials, and how people can become a negotiable problem in reality. History is an extension. History is the inheritance, accumulation and expansion of culture and the track of human civilization.
