The biggest temple fair in North China is located in Xun County, Hebi City.

Xun County, Hebi City, located in the north of Henan Province, is a national historical and cultural city and a thousand-year-old county. It is a grand temple fair that lasts for one month at the beginning of the Spring Festival every year, with more than 200,000 visitors every day. Xunxian Temple Fair in the first month is as famous as Taishan Temple Fair in Shandong, Baiyun Temple Fair in Shanxi and Miaofengshan Temple Fair in Beijing, and is recognized as the four major temple fairs in North China. The temple fair in Xunxian County in the first month started early, lasted for a long time, was large in scale and had a strong folk flavor, so it enjoyed the reputation of "the first ancient temple fair in North China".

There are two peaks rising from Taihang Mountain outside the old county seat of Xunxian County, and the one on the east side is called Daxian Mountain with an altitude of 135 meters. Qihe Plain is located in the west of the county seat, with an area of 152.7 square kilometers. Weihe Plain is located on both sides of Weihe River east of Huolonggang, covering an area of about 520.5 square kilometers. The Old Yellow River Plain is located in the northeast of the county seat, with an area of about 174.7 square kilometers.
