Introduction of carved plum
Carving plum is a traditional food of Bai nationality, which is named after carving patterns on plum fruit. According to historical records, as early as the Nanzhao period in the Tang Dynasty, there was a custom of visiting relatives and friends to give each other carved plums. The main producing areas are Eryuan County and Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and are distributed in other counties of Dali Prefecture. Eryuan is the most famous.
