In the 8th year of the Republic of China (19 18), the phonetic notation method is still used as a tool for learning the pronunciation of Chinese characters in primary education in Taiwan Province province, and it is also used for inputting characters such as mobile phones and computers.
After the promulgation of 1958 "Chinese Pinyin Scheme", the use of phonetic symbols was abolished in mainland China. /kloc-in the 1970s, Singapore also abolished the use of phonetic symbols and switched to hanyu pinyin.
Hanyu Pinyin (Hanyu Pinyin) is the Latin scheme of Hanyu Pinyin in People's Republic of China (PRC), which was studied and formulated by the Hanyu Pinyin Scheme Committee of the former China Character Reform Committee (now the State Language Commission) during the character reform from 1955 to 1957. This pinyin scheme is mainly used to mark the pronunciation of Putonghua and Chinese as the phonetic symbol of Chinese characters.
