Wanfu 'an Ancient Pagoda in Meiqitang Village was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. "In the same period, Wenchang Pavilion was also damaged, but due to the solid wall, only some floating eaves and wooden frames in the tower were damaged."

Huidong Wenchang Pagoda is the only ancient pagoda preserved in Huidong County, which is of great value to the study of local human history, folk customs and architectural art. In recent years, the pagoda has been repaired.
