The Suez Canal is closed to unpowered ships. Therefore, we can only walk around the African continent. Finally, it took three months to cross the Cape of Good Hope and the Straits of Malacca, traveled10.5 million nautical miles (about 28,200 kilometers), and arrived at Dalian Port in March 2002. During the period, the extradition fee and customs clearance fee were $5 million and $500,000 respectively.
