What is the basis of family ethics advocated by Confucius?

Filial piety is the basis of family ethics advocated by Confucius. Confucius regards "filial piety as the foundation of benevolence", "filial piety is for disciples to enter and filial piety is for disciples to leave". You can be filial to your parents and respect your brother at home, and you can be loyal to the monarch and respect the elderly in society without making mistakes, so "filial piety is loyalty." Filial piety, an ethical norm, is also a political moral norm. We put aside the content of feudal patriarchal clan system endowed by Confucius era. In modern life, we still carry forward the traditional virtues of our nation by honoring our parents, respecting the old and loving the young, and having a harmonious family. The basic content of Confucius' view of filial piety, which we have already talked about in the last article, will not be repeated here. Only faith is spoken here.

Faith and righteousness are the code of conduct for people based on the world. Faith and righteousness can also be regarded as independent moral categories respectively.
