Definition of territory
In a narrow sense, national territory refers to the political and geographical concepts such as territory, territorial sea and airspace under the jurisdiction of sovereign States.
Including all the territory of a country, it belongs to the category of space. Territory usually refers to the land part of a country (including inland waters such as rivers and lakes) and its underground layer.
