1. Church of Our Lady of Dresden

Destroyed during the bombing of Dresden during the Second World War, it has been rebuilt and has become a symbol of Germany's rapprochement with its former enemy. The reconstruction project lasted 13 years, with the exterior completed in 2004 and the interior in 2005.

2. Potsdamer Platz, Germany
