What are the advantages and disadvantages of the straight and horizontal paddles in table tennis?

Personally, I think the differences are as follows:

(1) Straight rackets do not need to switch sides, they use the front side of the racket, whereas crosses need to switch sides;

(2) Straight rackets do not have any obvious gap in the middle of the racket when they are pushed to the right or to the left, while crosses have a gap in the middle of the racket when they are pushed to the right or to the right, because of the switching and the shape of the hands, it's a little bit in the center of the forehand position. It is easy for players to hesitate whether to use forehand or backhand.

(3) The difference in feel is small because the straight side uses one side of the rubber, while the two sides of the horizontal side of the rubber may be different, resulting in a larger difference.

(4) Straight left-push-right attack is convenient for small wrist movements, such as picking, pivoting, etc.; cross-court because most of the time to be used to change the racket face and stabilize the racket shape, less change;

Because of the above reasons, cross-court left-push-right attack is more difficult than straight, in the game will be used less, generally try to sideways to use the forehand.
