Main Businesses of China Post

China Post's main businesses include: domestic and international mail delivery; newspaper, book and other publication distribution; stamp issuance; postal remittance; confidential communication; postal finance; postal courier; postal logistics; e-commerce; various types of postal agency business; and other businesses stipulated by the state.

China Postal Corporation is the only enterprise in China that has physical, financial and information flows at the same time. Postal enterprises operate domestic and international mail delivery business and express mail delivery business. Domestic mail refers to mail sent from or to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan within the territory of the People's Republic of China, of which mail sent from or to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is called Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan mail; international mail refers to mail sent from or to the People's Republic of China and other countries and regions, and mail sent from or to other countries and regions through the transit of China's territory.

Article 19 of the Rules for the Implementation of the Postal Law of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China Postal Enterprises to operate domestic and international mail delivery business and mail express business. Domestic mail refers to the mail sent to each other within the territory of the People's Republic of China, of which the mail sent from or to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is called Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; international mail refers to the mail sent to each other between the People's Republic of China and other countries and regions, and the mail of other countries and regions through the transit of China's territory.

Article 21 of the newspaper agency entrusted postal enterprises to issue newspapers and periodicals, should be based on the scope of newspaper distribution to the designated postal enterprises or postal newspaper and periodicals distribution bureau, issued by the competent authorities to authorize the publication of newspapers and periodicals with the certificate of registration. Postal enterprises have the ability to take over the distribution of newspapers and periodicals shall follow the principle of equality and mutual benefit, consensus, equal pay, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State signed a contract for the distribution of newspapers and periodicals.

Article 22 Postal savings, postal remittance business is a postal enterprise for the country to accumulate funds, communication and economic transactions carried out by the financial services, by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications unified management, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State, in the financial business to accept the guidance of the People's Bank of China. All relevant banks shall facilitate the savings and exchange operations handled by postal enterprises.

Article 32 Users sending mail shall conform to the permitted contents, encapsulation specifications, writing format, and correctly written postal code prescribed by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, of which the envelopes used by users to send letters must conform to the national standards; the covers of mail and postal business forms shall not be printed (written) or pasted with words or other articles not related to mail; the front of postage vouchers shall not be painted or covered with other articles; no forged or imitated mail shall be used; no postal vouchers shall be used. The front of the postage voucher shall not be smeared or covered with other objects; and the postage vouchers shall not be used forged, imitated, cut and mended, or processed and decontaminated.
