Where does Songchong Village belong?

Songchong Village in Huayou Township is located in the southeast of Qingyang County. It is a new village where the original Songchong Village and Sanyuan Village merged. It is an old revolutionary base area and a mountainous area. It is 5 kilometers away from the seat of the township government, connected to Zhongcun, Houan and Baohe townships in Jingxian County in the east, Tianwu Village in the south, Huayou Forest Farm in the west and Youer Village in the north. The whole village covers an area of 16.5 square kilometers, and governs 12 villagers' groups with 396 households and 1385 people. The forest farm covers an area of 17365 mu, with 720 mu of paddy fields, 320 mu of mulberry fields and 206 mu of tea gardens. There are 1 large enterprises in the village, which are rich in mineral resources such as tungsten, molybdenum, lead, zinc and antimony. During the War of Liberation, it was once the residence of Jing Qing and Nan 'an county committees, and the Binshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall was located in the village.

The layout and key points of rural eco-tourism are: taking rural greening and ecological natural landscape construction as the "point", taking road and ditch greening as the "line" and taking unique natural scenery, beautiful ecological environment and rich underground mineral resources development and construction as the "surface", forming an ecology of "mountains and rivers, green belts and beaded beads" with trees, shrubs, flowers, grass, rocks and water features, and integrating greening and beautification.

The village retains a large number of stone tile dwellings, which are recognized by tourism experts as characteristic villages with typical cottage sentiment in southern Anhui, and are a must in southern Anhui. As a disappearing culture, it has maintained the unique traditional village style of Songchong and integrated with the original natural scenery of Huayou Forest Farm in the village, which is a double beauty of leisure and tourism.

Songchong Village is adjacent to Paradise Village, Youer Village, Shi 'an Village, Jinfeng Village, Tianwu Village, Huaan Village and Chaohua Village.

On September 23rd, 20 19, Songchong Village was recognized as the first batch of demonstration villages in beautiful countryside.

Qingyang Songchong Binshan Revolution Memorial Hall

Qingyang Songchong Binshan Revolution Memorial Hall is located in Songchong Formation, Songchong Village, Huayou Town, Qingyang County. It was during the Republic of China, and its category was important historical sites and representative buildings in modern times.
