In traditional Chinese medicine, the twelve meridians divides the meridians into hand meridians and foot meridians according to the relationship between meridians and some viscera in the body and different parts of limb circulation. Foot Three Yin Meridian: Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian.
Yin meridian mainly runs on the inside of limbs, belonging to viscera, collaterals and viscera in the body. Yang meridian mainly runs on the outside of limbs, belonging to the fu-organ collaterals in the body. Hand meridian runs on the upper limb and foot meridian runs on the lower limb.
