The difference between Shen San and San Yuan Zhen.

There are obvious differences between kidney three needles and round three needles, mainly in the shape of needle tip and main uses.

1. Needle tip shape: the needle tip of Shen San-pin is triangular and sharp, while the needle tip of round San-pin is blunt, causing little damage to tissues.

2. Main uses: Because the tip of Shensan Needle is sharp, it is mainly used for intermittent suture of tough tissues such as skin and tension-reducing suture of skin. The round three-needle tip is blunt and has little damage to tissue. Therefore, circular three-needle is widely used in abdominal intestinal anastomosis, repair of digestive tract perforation, peritoneal closure, vascular suture and so on.

Generally speaking, Shensan needle is mainly used to sew tough tissues such as skin, while Sanyuan needle is more used to sew internal organs such as abdominal cavity.
