How to treat database marketing

I am now doing database marketing in a foreign company. In the United States, 97% of companies use database marketing, while in China, the proportion is only 3%. The market is huge, but due to cultural and legal reasons, it is still very difficult to develop.

But one thing is certain, this is the general trend of marketing. Many companies are included in the planning, but they are not formal. Correctly speaking, database marketing has nothing to do with "crowd tactics". For example, if a company gives us100000 records, we need to cooperate with professionals from various backgrounds, from data screening, sorting, research and development, to activities, to analysts. A medium-sized project needs at least twenty or thirty people to participate, and in the end it may be hundreds or thousands of people.

If we are a computer company, then "the best gift for children to enter school-a notebook computer" may appear in your mailbox, and this notebook is just related to your income. It can even be distilled into, if your child is a girl, then this notebook is beautiful. If you are a boy, you may pay more attention to the configuration of the graphics card.

Therefore, "database marketing" is not a sea of tactics, but a block-oriented sales method based on a large amount of data. Its purpose is to save social costs, help consumers get better information, choose products that suit them, and narrow the information asymmetry in the market.
